What Is Interchange?
Interchange fees are transaction fees that must be paid whenever a customer uses a credit/debit card to make a purchase from their store. The fees are paid to the card-issuing bank (Visa/MC/Amex etc) to cover handling costs, fraud and bad debt costs and the risk involved in approving the payment.
What Is PCI Compliance?
Being PCI compliant means consistently adhering to a set of guidelines set forth by the PCI Standards Council. PCI compliance is governed by the PCI Standards Council, an organization formed in 2006 for the purpose of managing the security of credit cards. You will be sent a survey by the Standards Council to take and pass.
How does $.05 processing work?
We work hard to make our program as simple as possible. Oval does not mark up your interchange costs (VISA/MC/Amex etc) charge for each card type we only charge you $.05 for each time you swipe, dip or tap a payment. There is no program that is easier or less expensive on the market today.
What do I get with my membership?
Your membership of $40/month includes; your monthly statement, so you can reconcile your business accounting, A Clover Go device, The monthly Clover Software fees to keep you up to date and secure,and includes various compliance and risk fees.
What do I do if I lose my Clover Go?
Email us at Sales@tryoval.com and we will get one out to you as soon as we can as long as your membership is in good standing. You can also take payments by keying the card numbers onto your mobile device while you wait for your new Go to arrive.
How long does signing up take?
Signing up is easy. Click the sign up button and fill out the information needed. The process can be done under 10 minutes. We will need a copy of a voided check so we know where to deposit the money and a photo of your driver’s license so we can verify your identity for security. For 1 to 3 business days our teams of analysts will review your membership application. After our security and fraud checks are complete your new Clover Go will ship to you 2 day!
